Goats in the East Bay Hills Doing Their Work
There is a green job described as “Goat Herder.” And herding those goats all over the fire-prone hills of the East Bay is quite a project. Last week goats were spotted off of Tunnel Road in the hills. By Monday, goats were mowing the grass, near the freeway entrance off of Park Boulevard. Yesterday afternoon they had traveled to the hills above Head Royce School, and were happily munching away on the dry brown grass in the brisk breeze near sunset.
