I mentioned last week about the free electronic waste recycling drive at the Oakland Wal-Mart. When I called Wal-Mart they didn't have much information so all I could really mention was the place and time.

Today I ventured out myself and took two monitors, a remote control, a motherboard and an old disk drive to the ASL Recycling drop off point at the Oakland Wal-Mart. I have now road tested the service. Several men were there to unload my car for me. It was quick and easy. The preconceived notion that I had about it being a hassle was totally de-bunked. The service was exceptional! I have had those two monitors in my garage for months. I am so glad to get them off my hands.
